Searching the map sends the map bounds to this site so it can return nearby facilities. Searching for an address sends that text to this site, which forwards it to a geocoder (OpenStreetMap Nominatim, or LocationIQ if the operator configured one).

The site does not ask you to create an account. Standard server logs may include your IP address and the page you requested. Those logs are used to operate and protect the service.
